Beats Working
Out of the office this week, and presently procrastinating. The software’s re-loaded and the manual for Sony Vegas Studio is on the desk just to my right. The camcorder’s here too, as are the 8mm videotapes that document the days all the Good Cats joined our family.
On one, there’s Kelly trotting into our yard to hunt a rabbit, then introducing himself to us. On another, Lizzie huddles in a cage at Animals In Distress, and waits for Pat and I to go through the adoption paperwork with AID officials.
Another contains the video of the director of Good Mews as she pulls up in front of our house and carries Caitie up the sidewalk, and the final one shows kitten Nicky at Pat’s brother’s house in New Jersey. Nicky tries to get a drink from his mother Mow-Mow, but she rolls over and turns away.
This week’s the best chance I’ll have to put all these memories on DVD. Just need to sit down and do it. Don’t surf, don’t blog, just do it…
