Springtime in January

Spring stole this day from Winter. It was sunny and relatively warm, and definitely pleasant to be outside. A winter day without bad weather, one day closer to the real Springtime.

Lizzie looked under the railing of the deck at nearby birds…

…but while Lizzie stayed on the deck, Caitie quickly hopped down to the ground. Here she is, at what you might call the point of no return.

When she realized the birds had flown away, Caitie began to nibble some green blades of grass. Nicky observed her…

…and then joined her.

    It’s always great to have a springlike day in the middle of winter. Cats always know when the weather is good. Two beautiful calicos, one handsome boy. What more can you ask for. But, where’s Kelly?
