Mmm-BOY, them’s good eatin’…
Take me out to the ballgame
Take me out with the crowd
Buy me a burger on a Krispy Kreme
Isn’t that the American Dream?
Everyday life with Good Cats, plus anything else that comes to mind.

Isn’t that the American Dream?

While our Kelly cat is known by his humans (with good reason) as the Big Guy, size alone doesn’t quite explain the wide berth Caitie is giving him here.
At the end of a long lazy Sunday afternoon of random websurfing (triggered by the Pinky and the Brain reference below)…
I’m enjoying the new Donald Fagen CD Morph the Cat, and although I can’t compare it to other modern music, other more qualified critics seem to like it too. But don’t take my word for it…

While looking over the list of television shows available on demand at AOL’s new feature In2TV, I was unimpressed: Chico and the Man; Eight is Enough; F Troop, Hanging With Mr. Cooper, yeah, right, whatever…
Maverick, OK, that’s worth a look–
Pinky and the Brain! They have Pinky and the Brain?
NARF! All righty, I’m impressed…
I’ll bet that a good many fun and interesting websites began on one of the free blog sites like Blogger, or one of the free home page sites like Geocities. This afternoon, I ran across Cooking For Engineers, a site similar in focus to Alton Brown’s Food Network show Good Eats. According to its creator, a network engineer (among other techie professions), CfE began on Blogger and grew popular enough for him to take the leap into turning it into a commercial website. And, in my opinion, a useful one.
The creator of the site also says that the URL is sometimes mistaken for “cooking foreigners”. It’s sort of like these URLs, which, to put it gently, can be read more than one way.

All I intended to do was cover the nice Pennsylvania Dutch quilt with an old blanket to help keep off the cat hair.
However, Caitie was already on the quilt, and when I covered her with the light blanket, a few seconds later she crawled to the edge of the bed.
I just happened to have the camera upstairs and she cooperated by staying in place for several seconds more. Voila — Caitie Undercover.

Seven-footer Loek Van Mil calls the Netherlands home, and yes, he got the memo about the National Basketball Association becoming the place for the world’s best players. But he’d rather play baseball in the U.S.
