Attractive, But Impractical

Both this mourning dove and Caitie seem to have been auditioning for a role as a hood ornament for my PT Cruiser. Caitie got the location right, anyway.
But while we’re on the subject, you can find some real classic hood ornaments here.

I bet you have good balances to sit on the hood that way. You have such pretty markings!
The Mom Toni
Caitie replies: Oh, thank you! You know what pretty calicos look like because you have two beautiful girls of your own!

I love your hood ornaments. Which came first.. the dove, or Caitie?
Caitie replies: The dove was there first, but not by much!

Our vote is for the Caitie ornament provided the car stays stationary in the driveway.
One of Caitie’s humans replies: It’s too much fun driving the PT to keep it still in the driveway!
But that aside, if I can only have one animal ornament, I’d vote for Caitie too.
Actually, there’s room for both of them, if it were possible to get the cat and the bird to put aside their historic differences…
…but then, would you still be able to call Caitie a Good Cat?

I vote Caitie for the hood ornament, but she needs to have some bungee cords or something so she can hold on tight!

Mum’s favorite real hood ornament is the cat for the Jaguar. But then she has me for her personal car.

We’d vote for ourselves to be the hood ornaments on our human’s car. But it’s a Nissan Micra, so perhaps all three together is a bit much? Maybe we should take it in turns. And there’s another problem. Except for the balcony, we’re not allowed outside. Our human says she loves us too much to expose us to such danger…..
But we agree with all the above. Caitie is a beautiful hood ornament!!!!
