Summer vacation! Never too old to get excited by those sweet words. Pat and I are powering down the PC’s and going outside to play for awhile.

August 16 update: we’ve enjoyed ourselves the last couple of months, and right after Labor Day we’ll start to report on “How We Spent Our Summer Vacation”. You’re invited to come on back and look over the Good stuff here beginning September 5.

Hey guys, this is Kelly. Thanks for the good wishes for our humans. I’ll miss them, too. You’d think they would just leave and let us take care of ourselves, but they arranged with Pat’s sister Joyce to watch the house and be our surrogate human. Joyce is OK, and I think she’s trainable.

Sure hope your summer is splendid! The heatwave broke here (and to my surprise, it wasn’t in pieces all over the lawn as I had suspected it would). The windows are open, soothing music is playing thanks to Momma and her CDs…it’s all good here! Can’t wait until you post more!
