Home Video Monday: Kelly in the Snow

Posted in Cats, Home Video at 0:05

And specifically, the 27 inches of snow that fell in early January 1996. Kelly had adopted us only a few months before, and his coat was thick from being homeless and living outside. But even thick fur wasn’t enough for him to stay outside very long that day.

Wow! What an amazing video! I thought it was pretty funny when you had to leap to get from one place to the next. I bet these days you’d rather be inside with that much snow! We’ve only had a couple of dustings here so I’ve never seen so much snow!!

That is such a nice video! I remember a lot of snow a few winters in the mid 90s; I was living in New Jersey back then with only one of the four cats in my family (the other three hadn’t been born yet). It is great that you have a video from 11 years ago!

Wow, I have never seen a cat walking in snow before! It looks cold. You were smart to stay inside the trail most of the time, or you might have gotten swallowed up by the snow!

Kelly looked so tiny when he was playing in it. And, better yet, he found his forever home.

You made me feel cold just watching this. Plus I have never seen snow that deep. Mum says that is lots, that you have piled up there on your deck.

That was amazing - he actually looked like he was having *fun in the snow! But I’ll bet he was glad to come in and get warm!

Great Video. You are giving me ideas! I want to make some movies while the little ones are little.
