3 Good Dots Saturday…
I feel good today… among other reasons, because I wasn’t caught in the Valentine’s Day traffic nightmare on I-78. When Pat + I first moved here, we could take rides west on I-78 for fun, especially on warm nights, but when the huge warehouses went up, the truck traffic just exploded. It wasn’t much fun anymore, going for a ride with 18 Wheels of Death looming in your rear view mirror…
– I was impressed by some graphics recently on Luxor’s blog from Image Chef and made a couple for the Good Cats’ blog.
This one will probably stay on here… it’s only fair to warn blog-readers to beware, there’s self-indulgence ahead…
– Now that teams are reporting to spring training, here’s a baseball video. Even if you’re not interested in baseball, there’s still something that may be of interest to you about two minutes in. It sure got my attention — I smell a marketing opportunity!
– Speaking of baseball, Jeter Harris,as you might guess from his name, is a Yankees fan. However, his Valentine, Lilly Lu, follows the Red Sox. In a wonderful show of devotion to her man cat, Lilly Lu says she will wear the Yankees hat that Jeter sent her. If Jeter wants to impress Lilly Lu, he should obtain the license plate shown below:
– Have you seen the February 2007 issue of Cat Fancy? If nothing else, you should take a peek at the cover…
– Something I learned about this week: korfball. Korf is Dutch for ‘basket’ and like basketball, the object is to put a ball into a hoop high off the ground. Otherwise, forget basketball. There was a Flash-powered game loosely based on korfball at one team’s site. I don’t speak the language, but figured it out just enough to play. Choose your name, number, and color of shirt, and get started. Timing is everything…
– Sher at What Did You Eat? posted one of Ina Garten’s recipes this past week, and if you’re a recovering chocoholic like me, you’d better be ready before you click the link for Double Chocolate Cake.
– And now this word from our alternate sponsor:
– One more thing: on Wednesday, you might have seen the photo of rabbit tracks in the snow covering our back yard. Well, yesterday, I was outside with the cats and saw something that from a distance resembled a paw print. Getting closer, I saw it was actually something else a rabbit left behind… and with that, I’ll talk to you later…

It is very great what a cat will do for love. I can’t wait to see Lilly Lu wearin’ the hat!
I am very surprised about that snow picture. I didn’t know poops could leave their own footprints. Or, I guess, pooprints.

Come spring.. our back yard is littered with bunny droppings. I always hope they are somewhat beneficial to the grass.. but am not really sure.
