One Good Cat Link: The hamburger chain known as either Checkers or Rally has an advertising campaign centered around a cat puppet named Rap Cat. OK, so far, so good. The restuarant also wants you to put a cat in one of their bags, which is printed to look like the outfit the cat puppet wears in the commercial, then take a picture of your bagged cat and send it to them. (Cringing) Oooh…not such a good idea.
One Video Link: Have you ever heard of rabbit show jumping? I haven’t, but after watching the video below, I like it…
One Other Link: Baseball players aren’t the only people who autograph baseballs. For instance, a baseball signed by a former U.S. president fetched more than $4,000. So how much would an autographed baseball be worth if it bore the signature of, say, Mother Teresa? (If the signature were genuine, that is…)
Caitie attentively inspects Kelly, and, as a Good Cat, he accepts it as his due. The look on his face seems to say, in the words of epigrammatist Ashleigh Brilliant: Appreciate me now and avoid the rush.
After the snowstorm Wednesday, I cleared the driveway and the sidewalks, but not the deck. Thursday and Friday, things were frozen by the time I got home from work. That meant the cats hadn’t been out for days when I hauled out the icebreaker and the snow shovel this morning and cut a path in the drift left on the deck. All the Good Cats took a few steps into the sunshine, but Lizzie and Nicky made quick U-turns back inside when they realized how cold it still was. Kelly and Caitie lasted only a little longer…
Just out the door, Caitie seems to be having second thoughts already.
After a minute or two, Kelly makes his way to the back door.
Caitie does the hokey-pokey with her right hind paw, and soon, she is back inside as well.
