Progress Report
Hello again, world… back on a limited schedule for now…
Wanted to do a quick post about this: late this afternoon, I stopped in at the Petco in Old Bridge, NJ, where a rescue organization called S.A.R.A. Inc. was holding an adoption day. All the available cats looked to me like Good Cats. I especially fell hard for one of them, a big mellow guy named Sully, and wished there were room for one more Good Cat at our house. (If you have room in your heart and your home for Sully, S.A.R.A. would love to hear from you.)
I enjoyed talking about cats with the members of S.A.R.A., who were all friendly and enthusiastic. It must be hard for any member of a rescue organization to keep that enthusiasm when there are always more cats to help than the time or resources to do so.

I read all about Sully, and he *does seem like a Good Cat. I’ll be thinking Good Thoughts that he’ll find a wonderful forever home soon.

The step up from two to five was a bit steep. But, we adjusted.
Anyway, we hope Sully will find his forever home.

We hope Sully finds a good home. Us two good cats just became three… we got a new brother named Ossie, well he has a big name Ossian but he is just a little cat. He was in the woods by our house and he too just rolls over and wants his tummy rubbed so he wasn’t truly feral. There are lots of good cats out there in bad situations who need a home… we hope Sully has the same luck as Ossie.
