Traditional Friday Cat Blogging: Nicky

A few comments have noted how intent and serious Nicky looks here. I’ll tell you why he does: just behind him, cropped out of the photo, is Pat. When his Mama is around, Nicky is one intense guard cat. I don’t think you can call it instinct, but whether you call it attachment, call it devotion, or even call it love, if anyone or anything were to threaten Pat, regardless of how big they were, this little guy would do anything he could to stop them.

Here’s a tip of the Good Cats’ hats to A Byootaful Life, which is hosting Weekend Cat Blogging #112. It’s also the home of lady cat Puddy, who resembles our little Gatito Perfecto.
