A Little Nap Video
After re-posting the video of Kelly and Caitie last week, I realized it’s been a long time since I posted a new video.
This was just a little footage of Kelly napping on a Sunday afternoon, and I took advantage of it to try out the video recording function on our new Canon Powershot. (And we’re retiring the Konica/Minolta after 3 years and thousands of photos. Some of them came out pretty well, and thirteen of my favorites will be posted in a Thursday Thirteen this week.)
Recording was no trouble, but editing it in Sony Vegas Movie Studio was. No video, only an audio track.
Researched the problem and learned that a motion jpeg codec is needed. That would run me about twenty dollars. However, I also learned that it’s possible to work around that by opening the AVI file in Windows Movie Maker instead.
Hey, twenty bucks is twenty bucks… better spent on good food for our cats.
