Now this is my kind of upgrade…
One more chore before calling it a day — cleaning the cat boxes. It’s been two full weeks, and Caitie has been a good kitty for the entire time. But we don’t want to push our luck, either…
Just finished one unscheduled task. WordPress has upgraded to version 2.5, but I’ve been satisfied with 2.2, and in the past even a simple upgrade gave me the willies, so I had no intentions of getting the newer version.
Except tonight, Ed Bott posted that he had felt the same way, but with the help of the plugin WordPress Automatic Upgrade, he’d finished the job in less than five minutes. That’s all the endorsement I needed; I got the plugin, installed it, and then pretty much got out of its way. And here we are, running version 2.5 without a hitch or a glitch. Big hat tip to Keith Dsouza for this plugin.

OH MY!!!! My human is over there to download the thing–she has always said she’d rather reinstall than upgrade sometimes! (if she didn’t loose all her posts!)
