Black Friday is here in the U.S., and shopping is going full-tilt while many people are still digesting their hypercaloric Thanksgiving dinners.  The following little story is also food-related, or more accurately, diet-related, and was one of the first Good Cat memories posted way back when in '97 when we were on Geocities and this whole thing was called "Moore to the Point."

   For awhile, we tried feeding the cats reduced-calorie Hill's Science Diet in order to keep Lizzie from turning into the Goodyear Kitty.  The cats ate it grudgingly, but it seemed to affect Lizzie's disposition the most.

   One afternoon, as Lizzie was eating, Kelly sauntered over and stood over her food dish.  We could have told him that wasn't a good idea.  Lizzie stopped eating just long enough to nip Kelly's butt and sent him leaping away.
